Zanai Marie Woods, infant daughter of Daionesse Woods & Mursjoni Moten, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Zanai was feisty and full of spirit. The hospital staff affectionately called her “tiny, but mighty.” All the nurses said she was strong and a true fighter, with a lot of might in her. Though she was peaceful, she had so much energy and loved to kick. Her mommy loved her dearly. Though her time on earth was brief, she brought so much joy and happiness to everyone she touched.

Zanai was deeply loved by her parents Daionesse Woods & Mursjoni Moten, big sister Zaliyah Frencher, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her older sister Amyiah Woods, older brother Mursjoni Motten, Jr., uncle DonaldVon Miner, grandfather Joseph Woods, and other extended family members.
