William "Bill" Charles Stringer, 68, passed away on August 10, 2024. He was born in Des Moines on February 18, 1956 to John and Beverly Stringer.

In 1979, Bill married the love of his life, Cindy (Fisher). They were blessed with twin sons in 1989, who were their pride and joy. Bill worked full-time since the age of 14 years old for Hanifen Towing, Monarch Cement and Colonial Bakery before retiring from Des Moines Asphalt and Paving. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, going to car shows and watching racing and football on TV. But most of all he cherished being at home with his family.

Bill is survived by his twin sons, Taylor and Tyler Stringer, as well as many other loving family and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cindy; siblings, John, Cindy Edwards, Betty Battin and Jimmy.

Family will greet guests on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave., Des Moines.
