Barb, Steve and Jan,
I shared some memories with your parents several years ago in a letter co-written with my brother and sisters. It was a blessing to reminisce on our days as children under the tutelage of your parents. I hope that it was a blessing to them also. In that letter I thanked them for being part of guiding us to the narrow path that has been a blessing for me and is now a blessing for my sons and on to a third generation, my grandchildren. We honor their obedience to our Lord's calling today and express our gratitude to you as their children. Welcome home good and faithful servants, enter into the joy of your Lord. Sing the wondrous love of Jesus.........

Barb, Steve, Jan, and families: our hearts grieve with you, but not without hope. Hope in the Savior your dad loved, served, and spoke of so much of his life. He’s walking streets of gold; no more pain or sorrow; rejoicing at the throne, and no longer separated from the Lord. He has accomplished life’s greatest goal! We will treasure sweet memories from the past sixty-plus years. Truly lifelong friendships. We pray that God will comfort your hearts in the days and weeks to come. Heaven’s sounding sweeter all the time. Love you all.

My sorrow is for all of you. I also know you are very happy for him to be back with the love of his life. No more pain,no more problems only blessings. They raised some great children.
