Warren Hutchinson

Warren Hutchinson, 92, passed away at his home November 7, 2024.

Warren was born April 9, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland to George and Marie Hutchinson. He retired from the Des Moines Public School System where he was an HVAC tech. Warren was a member of Local Union 33. He loved spending time with his family and square dancing with his late wife Sylvia. Warren was hands on when it came to repairs and could fix anything. He enjoyed singing in the church choir. Warren was an avid fan of the Peanuts character Snoopy and he also liked frogs.

Warren is survived by his sons, Steven Paul Jones, Paul Allen (Mary) Jones and Ralph Edward Hutchinson; grandchildren, Misty (Jonnie) Sibley, Jessica (Josh) Hartley, Daniel Jones, Ashley Jones and Spencer Ray Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Peyton Sibley, Jaxton Sibley, Uriah Hartley, Brinley Hartley, Cora Hartley, Regan Julianna Jones and Brooks Hayes Jones; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Sylvia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
