Terry Lynn Porter

Terry Lynn Porter, 69, passed away peacefully at his home among family on May 2, 2024. He was born on March 29, 1955 to Maxine Halbrook and Robert Porter in Des Moines, Iowa. Terry had a love of all things Cowboy including his exceptional skills at breaking and training horses, he was a true horse whisperer.

Terry is survived by his son Travis Porter, his love of the last 20 plus years Theresa Le Croy, sisters Robin, Bonnie, Lorraine, Carolyn, brothers Allen, Jerome, Mike and Larry. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maxine, brothers Gary and Bill, and sister Diane.

A celebration of life will be held on May 18, 2024 starting at 1 p.m. at Bailey’s Pub N Grub on E. Euclid Ave.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Terry’s honor to Every Step Hospice.
