I just learned a couple weeks ago from Tom and Peggy's son that Tom had entered hospice. He'll be missed by many, and I treasure the memories of our acquaintance from the 1990s and 2000s.

So many fond memories growing up. Family get togethers at the grandparents. Though we didn't keep in close contact over the years, the "cousins" were always in our thoughts. May God grant comfort to you during this time. With Love, Gary and Dani Tompkins

to Toms family. You have my sympathy. I graduated South Clay in 1973. I was younger but I remember Tom and his sister Barb. Both were well liked by everyone and took time to greet people by name. May you find comfort in happy memories. I posted this Class of 1969 composite pic on Facebook.
To many of us, these will always be the cool kid. Gods peace, LaVonne (Salton) Anderson

I too was just told that Tom had passed. He was a swell co-worker, a talented musician and an all around great guy. Condolences to his family.

Just saw where Tom Culver has died. I worked with him in the Des Moines Carrier Center as his partner in H-Cap testing.
Rest in peace, my friend.
Tony Wheller is gone now also. We all worked as a team covering the Des Moines area.
To think I retired 20 years ago. Those were good times working with great people. From outside techs, and COTs, to the designers in the center. All worked together to provide T1 service to what we hoped would exceed their expectations.
