Theresa Louise Davis, 70, passed away July 5, 2024 in Des Moines. She was born on February 4, 1954 to Wayne and Patricia (Kelly) Determan.

Theresa enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved sewing, crafting, science fiction shows and movies. Theresa worked for Ruan Transportation, Global Machinery and later at Principal Financial. Family was very important to her, and she cherished her time with them.

Theresa is survived by son, Denny (Betsey) Davis; step-children, Shawna Hawkinson and Shane Davis; granddaughter, Emmalynn Rhodes; siblings, Susan (Rory) Jacobs and Charles (Nancy) Determan; nieces and nephews, Adam (Mary) Jacobs, Amanda (Adam) Herold, Jeremy Jacobs and Shawn (Tabatha) Wendel; many great nieces and nephews along with beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steven Davis; infant daughter, Terri Jean Davis and sister, Catherine Wendel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
