Talon Feucaloro

Talon Feucaloro, 27, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2024, at Mercy Hospital.
Talon was born on May 30, 1997, in Des Moines, Iowa to Vince and Melissa Feucaloro. After graduating from high school, Talon joined the United States Navy and pursued a Mechanical Engineering degree. He had a sound moral compass and was always kind and respectful. He was an old soul at heart and gave amazing hugs.
Talon was very musically gifted and self-taught on the piano and enjoyed beatboxing and easily picked up on pitches and tones. He had an eclectic taste in music and had the ability to transcend and absorb what he was listening to.
Talon enjoyed playing video games, going on long walks and he also liked skateboarding. Talon was very creative and an out of the box thinker in conjunction with having a heart of gold that was felt by everyone surrounding him. He encompassed exceptional artistic abilities. He had a quirky sense of humor and could effortlessly put a smile on your face. Even with past, present and futuristic hardships, he always displayed an elevated level of resiliency and integrity.
Above all else, Talon was an incredible big brother who protected his younger siblings and loved them unconditionally.
He survived by his mother, Melissa Feucaloro; father, Vince Feucaloro & Heather; sister, Alera Feucaloro; brother, Luca Feucaloro; brother, Vinni Jr Feucaloro; grandmother, Ann Gorden & grandpa, Mike Gorden; Nana, Patty Mendenhall; Big Papa, Ronnie Feucaloro; aunt, Stephanie Felts; aunt, Jena Feucaloro; uncle, John Feucaloro; uncle, Colin Feucaloro; uncle, David Gorden and a host of cousins and extended family. Also, his beloved cat Flula.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jane & Tommy Mendenhall; paternal aunt, Dina Feucaloro.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
