Sharon Elaine (Raymond) Quick, 75, passed away on September 12, 2023 at her home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on September 17, 1947 to Harold “Bud” and Mary “Dee” (Goodwin) Raymond.
Sharon grew up in the Highland Park area. She graduated from North High School in 1965 and went on to attend Drake University. Sharon was a member of Capital City Church.
Sharon is survived by her daughters, Amber (Dave) Jones Lane and Andrea Brookes; step children, Rhonda (Troy) Andresen, Chad (LaRae) Quick and Jay (Michele) Quick; brother, Bob (Sandy) Raymond; sister-in-law, Gail Raymond and 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Raymond; husband, Russell Quick and brother Gary Raymond
Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa
In honor of Sharon’s mother and husband, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1415 28th St. #430, West Des Moines, Iowa 50266.

Sharon's parents and my parents were best friends. Growing up, I looked upon Sharon as my role model. I couldn't have picked anyone better. Condolences to her family.
