Robert “Bob” Dean Mongar, 55, passed away November 18, 2023.
He was born September 21, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa to his parents Donald and Cheryl Mongar.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kim; son, Donald; daughters, Jennifer and C.J.; mother, Cheryl; and his grandsons, Ethan, Aaden, and Mason
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Mongar.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Burkhead Electric, 2714 North Jefferson Way, Indianola, Iowa starting at 11:30 a.m.

It's so hard to say goodbye to your father. I figured we'd have a lot longer before this time came, but life is rarely predictable.
I'm going to miss being able to come over and just shoot the breeze, and being able to call you no matter what if I needed anything. I couldn't have had a better dad and will very fondly look back on all the memories and laughs we shared. I'll never forget my first concert with you, getting to rock out to Ozzy and having him actually point straight at us.
I love you, dad. I know you're with grandpa now. Keep each other company. We will meet again someday, and I know you're watching over all of us.

Bobbert, it's so hard to believe you are gone. It seems like yesterday that we were talking about coming over to see you soon. I'll never forget your big heart, your love for your kids or your big bear hugs you always had to give me before I left. Fly high bob. I hope you are with your dad now. Give my dad some crap for me. I love you man. Gonna miss you.

Its hard to believe youre gone! Im trying to keep it together for everyone but it still hurts! You did an amazing job co-parenting with my mom and my dad and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that! You have been an amazing dad and even more amazing grandad!! Fly high Bob I love you and will meet you on the other side!!!
