I am very sorry for your family's loss of Rita. Several years ago my daughters and son got married at St. Marys and Rita was the wedding coordinator and was such a huge help. She will be missed for her kindness.

Rita and I went to school together at Hanawalt Elementary in Des Moines. I remember celebrating either our 12th or 13th birthdays together when we were becoming teenagers. I was born June 10, 1942). We saw each other at several Roosevelt class reunions in the years after that, and we were glad for the memories of our shared birthdays. Rest in peace, Rita, and thanks for the memories. :)
