Raymond Eugene Smith

Raymond Eugene Smith, age 52, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at Urbandale Health Care Center. He was born January 26, 1972 to Charles and Rosemarie (Peetz) Smith in Des Moines.

Raymond graduated from high school and took college classes. He worked at numerous places and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Raymond is survived by wife of 23 years, Erica Smith; siblings, Max (Phyllis), Gary (Tracey), Barb (Brian), Tina (Scott), Amy (Rich), Ed (Rae Ann), Chris (Mary Jo), Jamie Smith, and Tony; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rosemarie Smith; his sister, Patty; sister-in-law, Missy Smith; nephew, Gregory Welch; and niece, Tiffany Welch.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
