Patricia "Patty" Anderson

Patricia “Patty” Anderson, 78, passed away April 7, 2024, at Genesis Senior Living Center. A private memorial service will be held.

Patty was born August 24, 1945, in Des Moines to Haley and Betty Shelburg. She was a lifelong Des Moines resident. In her younger years, Patty was a model. In her spare time, she enjoyed being a beautician for friends and family. She loved anything that were the colors pink and purple. Patty was an excellent cook and worked as a cook for Des Moines Public School System for many years, where she eventually retired. She and her husband Darrell enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing and traveling, especially to the Elms.

Patty is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Darrell; son, Albert Seigliano; daughter, Margaret Anderson; step-son, Chris Mann; step-granddaughter, Ellen; sister, Billy Sue Duff; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
