Nancy Lee Goode, age 68, of Altoona, Iowa passed away Wednesday May 21st, 2025 at Mercy One in Des Moines, Iowa

Nancy, the daughter of Richard and Bonnie White, was born on January 13th, 1957 in Des Moines, Iowa. Nancy was united in marriage to Jim Goode for 22 years.

She absolutely loved horses. She ran Dean Valley Equestrian for years and was even named trainer of the year. Her favorite horse was, Chance.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Teresa Campbell; nephew, Justin Campbell (Cherokee Gall); great nephews, Mason Campbell and Asher Campbell; great nieces, Rayne Campbell, and Scarlett Campbell; Aunt Gerry Bracewell; and her beloved dog Benji.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Goode; her father, Richard White; mother, Bonnie White; sister, Kathy Fiedler; and brother, Thomas White.

A funeral service to will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa.
