Muriel Mae Robinson

Muriel Robinson, 89, passed away on March 19, 2024 in Ankeny. She was born on August 14, 1934 to Clyde and Helen (Harvey) Terrell.

Muriel was a huge Elvis fan and loved old movies. She was quick with a comeback saying for all situations. Muriel was very astute to money and was very frugal. She loved her cars – so much so that she named them, her most recent one was named “Baby Juke”.

Muriel is survived by her son, Kyle (RaeAnn); grandchildren, Kyer, Breanna, Blake, Kasi, Shelby and Walker and 14 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kim Bartelt.

Family will greet guests on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 1:00 -2:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. A graveside service will follow at 2:15 p.m., at Pine Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.
