Michell Gordon Alexander, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 17th, 2023 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Mitchell was born December 17th, 1956 to Herbert and Marilyn Alexander in Walnut Ridge, AR.

Mitchell was married to his beautiful wife Janet for 42 years, and settled in Iowa to raise their two children, Linsey and Daniel.

Mitchell loved anything outdoors, from fishing to gardening and golfing, Mitch was a kind man who loved his family with every ounce of his heart. He will always be remembered for his funny sense of humor, great laugh and sweet soul.

Mitchell is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet Alexander; two children Linsey Alexander, and Daniel (Maranda) Alexander, four Grandchildren Adrienne Howard, Kaden Howard, Lucy Alexander and Mitchell Alexander. His Brother Tony Alexander, Sisters Lisa (Rick) Nevin and Suzanne Alexander May and many nieces and nephews.

Mitchell is proceeded in death by his parents Herbert Alexander and Marilyn Alexander.
