We're so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Jeff just found out this week. We are extending our thoughts and prayers to the entire Kirkpatrick family on the loss of this wonderful man. We haven't seen Mike for quite some time, but always enjoyed our time with him when we were at a gathering and had the time to visit. God bless you all.

I had the privilege of working with Mike in my early years with Local #45. He was a meticulous craftsmen who taught me a great deal. Myself and many others have also passed down the methods and craftsmanship that he taught us, his legacy will live on in Local #45. I’m also grateful to him for writing me a letter of recommendation to get in the apprenticeship program, it meant a great deal to me. He had a great sense of humor, nicknames for everyone and was really enjoyable to work with. He will be missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to his union brothers, friends and family.
