Michael Alan Davis, age 66, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, due to complications of organ failure. He was born February 13, 1957, in Centerville, Iowa to William and Ruby (Cridlebaugh) Davis.

Michael graduated from East High School with the Class of ’76. He worked for Townsend Manufacturing for 25 years. Michael loved watching the news and reading the Des Moines Register. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and playing tennis.

Michael is survived by his wife, Carla Smith; brothers, Roger Davis and David Davis; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Ruby Davis.

Cremation will occur and there will be no formal services held at this time.
