Michael Clement, age 77, went to Glory on December 3, 2023, at Taylor House of Des Moines. He was born on June 2, 1946, in Des Moines to Clarence and Cleo Clement.
Michael worked at AE Dairy for 49 years. He graduated from East High School in 1964, and was a proud member of the Reunion Committee and enjoyed lunches with the committee. Michael served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and proudly served his country. He loved his two doggies, Louie and Oreo who were his constant companions.
Michael is survived by his wife, Lynn of 55 years. His two children Jon and Joel, grandchildren, Emily, Braeden, Lainey, Jillian and his brother Timothy (Dianne).
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence & Cleo Clement, along with his sister, Marsha.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I am glad I got to know Michael, he made my life better for having known him. A great sense of humor and a good story teller. He was always interested in people and really listened when you talked to him. He had a big curiosity about a lot of subjects, which made him very smart. I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace old friend.

Lynn, we are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We always enjoyed talking to you both whether it was at Penn Avenue Physical Therapy or at HyVee.
Mike was a terrific guy and he will be truly missed by you, your family and all who knew him.

Michael was a kind and wonderful man. His smile lit up a room. He made everyone feel special. I so enjoyed my chats with him when I called my dear cousin Lynnie on the phone.
He was a precious blessing to all and especially to Lynnie.
