My Mom (Jean Hagen) and your Mary were great friends. I just saw in the Clear Lake paper she had passed. I am very sad that I hadn’t talked to her more after my mom passed. I enjoyed her little spicy personality. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

Linda,
My deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear mother. Your example of a loving caregiver is one that I aspired to match when my own mom was in my care. You loved her well. God bless you and comfort you at this difficult time.

My condolences to all of Mary‘s family. This is Chris Hankenson, Peg Clausen‘s daughter. I have thought of your mother so many times and had thought to call her, but most of my mother‘s friends have passed, and I didn’t know your mother‘s status. I now regret not giving her a quick call just to tell her that I think of her from time to time. I think she was the one that launched my mother‘s Mary Kay career. We often met when she came down to Des Moines and she would bring things from my mom to me or vice versa. She was a dear dear person. I cared for her very much. I know that when Max passed away, she was devastated. She and my mom remained close friends. Again my condolences. You were lucky to have her for as long as you did. Take care.-
Chris
I would have attended services, but oddly enough we have a funeral at the exact same time at the Hamilton‘s on the west side of town.
