Needless to say, I was stunned to learn of Mary Ellen's passing. I taught with her, lunched with her, and enjoyed her immensely. Her faith was an inspiration; especially how she handled the loss of her parents and sister. I am so thankful that she made the decision to move closer to Rick so that she could enjoy time with her grandchildren. She was so thrilled to be able to attend activities with them and watch them grow. She was such a special lady. Heaven will be a better place with her.
