Lucille Quinn

Lucille Giacomuzzi Quinn, 98, passed away at her home on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Lucille was born January 30, 1926, in Des Moines to Domenico and Ines (Novello) Giacomuzzi. She retired from Northwestern Bell where she had been manager for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Lucille is survived by her children, Anthony Quinn, Jeannine Leuschen and Christine Quinn-Struck; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Quinn; sisters, Sister Frances Cabrini and Esther Giacomuzzi; and her daughter, Mary Quinn.

The family will greet friends Monday, July 1, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. The rosary will be prayed at 10:45 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road. Lucille will be laid to rest with her husband Robert at Glendale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Anthony’s for the upkeep of the Grotto of Our Lady at St. Anthony’s and also for memorial masses.
