Linda Mae Pierick

Linda Mae Pierick, 69 passed away on December 5, 2023 in Mingo, Iowa.  She was born on October 31, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa to Andrew and Shirley (Porter) Reese.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, her dogs, camping/trail riding, and of course sitting on the porch listening to her music.

Linda is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Ben (Nikki) Westrope of Florida, daughter, Abbie (Brandon) Wood of Arizona; sister, Cindy Reese-Elefson of Johnston; sisters-in-law, Becky (Tracy) Smizer, Pat Pierick, Sue (Mike) Gooch, Cam (William) Frederick, Donna Christophersen, Mary (Joe) Gates, and Kathi (Tadd) Knoblock; brothers-in-law, Jack (Helen) Pierick, Paul Pierick, Joe (Trudy) Pierick, and Frank (Jill) Pierick; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Shirley Reese; son, Josh Wolver; sister, Sherry Hunt; and brothers-in-law, Lynn Hunt and Ray Pierick.

Linda was loved by many and will deeply missed by her family and friends.

Family will greet guests on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Ave., South, Mitchellville, Iowa. A funeral service will follow visitation at 5:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
