Larry Eugene Norris

Larry Eugene Norris passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born February 3, 1940 in Liberty Center, Iowa to Cecil and Mary Ann Norris. He grew up on an acreage in Des Moines which he fondly remembered for the many experiences of his childhood.

In 1960 Larry married the love of his life, Kathleen Brannen, whom he met in high school. He served his country dutifully as a member of the US Army, gaining a great deal of life experience. He mastered many trades during his employment and was a perfectionist at all of them. He loved to gain knowledge and pass it on to others. He had a passion for drafting, woodworking, and restoring automobiles. His creativity and ingenuity was seen in everything he did.

He is survived by Kathleen, his wife of 64 years, his daughter, Julia Bacarella (David); his son, John Norris (Crystal); and six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
