Kimberly (Hills) Bodine, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born on October 9, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa to Fred and Patricia Hills.

Kimberly had a love for the outdoors, she enjoyed going to Ledges State Park, pumpkin patches, going to concerts, biking, and riding motorcycles. More than her hobbies, Kimberly loved her family and every moment spent with them. She also cherished her friendship and endless great talks with her best friend of 51 years, Marcia. Kimberly will forever be remembered as a feisty redhead who loved unconditionally.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Nicole Barber and Ashley Routh, son Dillion (Jessica) Barber, grandkids Evan, Morgan, Logan, Ellie, Dominic, and Mariah, great-grandkid Lorenzo, and a host of extended family and friends.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, sister LeAnn, grandchildren Gabe and Hannah, and nephew Chad Hills.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Easter Lake Shelter #1, 3112 E. Titus Ave., Des Moines.
