Kathy Armstrong, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Parkridge Specialty Care, Pleasant Hill. She was born the daughter of George and Marlis (Thompson) Powers on April 1, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Kathy was an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan. She loved cooking, knitting, and above all else spending time with her family.

She is lovingly survived by her sons Mark (Stacy) Armstrong and Mike Armstrong, grandchildren Ashley, Jordan, Shelby, Cassidy, Jessica, Austen, Conner, and Alexya, great-grandchildren Sage, Ivy, Aubrey, Ranger, Bentley, Shire, and Prairie, sisters Julie and Connie, and brother Kevin.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Tony.
