He is family. I know just about everything there was to know about him. When we were kids I called him Jose because I couldn't spell Josiah. His favorite baseball player while collecting baseball cards was Jose Canseco back in the early 80's. For many years we all called him that. As he got older and he made his own way his friends called him Joe. In our family he was the only boy my age so we spent as much time together as we could. If I had a skate board, he had a skate board. If he had an RC car, I had an RC car. Many times I would give his mom a heart attack picking up Jose (who was much larger than myself as a kid) and tossing him as we played and wrestled. We would tag team at every holiday or family event to harass the younger cousins and nieces. Often finding ourselves in the clutches of an Aunt or Uncle for some good old family WWE wrestling matches when we were younger. He was good at anything he put his mind too and his friends fellow military buddies knew they could always look to him for a smile and a hand at anything. Life pulled me away from seeing Jose as much as I would have liked as we got older, only seeing him on rare family occasion or holidays. Either way he was the closest thing I had to a brother. He will be missed and I certainly wished my wife would have had her chance to go ice fishing with him but we never know how much time we have with each other. Take care buddy!
