Jonna Green, 77, passed away on April 21, 2024 in Des Moines. She was born on November 10, 1946 to Herb and Bettie (Dacken) Thompson.
Jonna had worked at the D.A.V., she liked anything Native American – especially wolves, she enjoyed visiting and spending time at the Neal Smith Nature Reserve, watching the buffalos. Jonna had a passion for shopping – she would pick up her grandkids and great grandkids and they would take shopping trips.
Jonna is survived by her daughter, Danielle Boydston; son, Dustin Green; sister, Frances “Stormy” Steuerwald; grandchildren, Nicole, Ayrianna and Christine; great grandchildren, Isabella, Landon, Mason and Oliver.
She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sorry to hear of your loss of Jonna. Jonna & I were 3rd cousins. We were the same age, had some classes together and lived in the same neighborhood growing up. While we didn’t see each other often as adults (and families of our own), it was always good to see her smiling face! R.I.P. Jonna

So very sorry to see of Jonna’s passing. She is the oldest of us grandkids and always was our little mother hen while growing up. Always gentle and caring. I love you cousin.
