Judith Mae Houseman

Judith Mae Houseman, age 82, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born on August 12, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Judith was a waitress at Wakonda Country Club for 35 years. She loved crocheting, crossword puzzles, Sukoku puzzles, and browsing through craft sales.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 64 years Larry Houseman, daughters Debbie (Jerry) Houseman-Seaney and Carla Houseman, her twin sister Joyce Scrowther, and many other loving relatives and many special friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Mary Scrowther, and her siblings Molly Gordan and Herbert “Butch” Scrowther.

Cremation has occurred and per Judy’s wishes, no services will be held.

Memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Judy.
