Judith Anderson

Judith Annette Anderson, 80, was born August 13, 1943, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Judith worked as a waitress and then a cook for the Ft. Des Moines Hotel in the 70s. Later, she was a traveling Certified Nurse's Assistant, going to different nursing homes in the Des Moines and Carlisle area. Judith loved playing cards and dice, and the occasional trip out to Prairie Meadows. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judith is survived by her children, John (Roberta) Jeffries, Jim Jeffries, Shannon Jeffries, Christian (Eddie) Emmons, and Ronee Wion; son-in-law, Mark Tizzard; special friend, Rodney Adamson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with a host of other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Tizzard, and ex-husband, John Jeffries.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
