The Nah, Kumehbor and Toe families sadly announced the death of Helen. Helenah was born December 29, 1959 in GrandCess, Grand Kru county Liberia. Helena was a small business owner and did housekeeping for the Police Department.

Helena moved to the United States to be closer to her daughter in January of 2023. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Helena was a faithful Christian throughout her entire life, when she moved to Iowa she began attending Miracle Chapel of Praise International in Urbandale. She loved singing and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is lovingly survived by her four children Mandi Wolloh, Ocelia Mombo, Lucretia (Winston) Koffa, and Patricia Wolloh, ten grandchildren Jeffrey N flomo, Mark flomo, Naomi N farmer, Winston Cephas, Winstonlu Cephas, Kojo C. Manyango, Prince Sieh, Welleh Sieh, Patricia Wolloh, and Sarah Wolloh, two great-grandchildren, host of siblings Laura Munah Harris, Teplah Mulbah, Dorslah Nah, Morris Nah - Woragbe, Darlieh Nah, Albert N. Nah, G. Alston Nah, Precious Nah, Teah Nah, and Joe Nah, and cousins in America and Liberia.

Helena was preceded in death by her mother Morria Welleh Toe Harris, father Alston Sawie Nah, her two children one who went missing during the Liberia War and Patint Wolloh in 2009, and many other loving family members.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, burial to follow at Waukee Cemetery.
