Gabriel Hosley
of Bondurant, Iowa

Gabriel Hosley, age 21, left this earth much too soon on May 17, 2024. He was born the son of Gene Hosley and Valerie Stumpe on August 5, 2002, in Fort Bragg, NC. “Delivered from above.”

Most of all, Gabriel enjoyed spending time with those he loved. Some of his most enjoyable times were spent with his girlfriend Harmoni Jacks and her son Jasper Hope, whom Gabe considered his own. Caring for, and being a father to, Jasper truly brought Gabriel the most joy and happiness.

Gabriel enjoyed spending time outdoors with his best friend, whom he considered a brother, Isaiah Minor, and close friend, Andre Houk. Some of his other hobbies were swimming, exploring caves, spending time with his dog (Hades), and listening to music. Gabriel had a selfless heart and believed in protecting, and standing up for, anyone who was being treated poorly or was in need. He loved to learn about history of all types and hoped to someday travel the world.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Valerie Stumpe (Sean); his father, Gene Hosley; sister, Erika Stumpe; step-mother, Jaclyn Allison; step-sister, Brooke Bumpass; aunts, Suzette Green and Stacy (Al) Hogan; cousins, Cayden Green, Kylan Green, Tasha Sluys, and Patrick Sluys; grandfather, Brian Brocksmith; aunt, Hannah Brocksmith; uncle, Nolan Brocksmith; grandmother, Sandra Shields; aunt, Cory Carlson; uncle, David Shields; great-grandmother, Betty Hosley; girlfriend, Harmoni Jacks; Harmoni’s son, Jasper Hope; and closest friends, Isaiah Minor and Andre Houk.
