Earl Vern Streeter

Earl Vern Streeter, age 71, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. He was born the son of Leslie and Margaret (Buchanon) Streeter on June 9, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Earl loved spending time outdoors, especially camping and fishing at Yellow Banks Park. He was an avid basketball enthusiast, he loved watching all basketball teams and even got the pleasure to enjoy it on the job while he worked for Per Mar Security Services. He was also known to break a few TVs when his team wasn’t doing very well.

He is survived by his brother Bob (Margaret) Streeter.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Sharon Streeter.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
