Dixie Diane Kimrey, 76, passed away on April 9, 2024. She was born on January 24, 1948 the daughter of Elner and Velma (Haffner) Hunziker.
Dixie was a retired Education Consultant with Heartland AEA. She was a member of Prairie Creek Church.
Dixie is survived by her husband, John Kimrey; sons, Jeff Glanville and Robert Glanville; step sons, John (Teri) Kimrey, Jr. and Jeff (Jody) Kimrey; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and brother, Duane Hunziker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Darlene, Darrel, Donnie and Donna and step daughter, Jodi Kimrey.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Prairie Creek, 801 West 1st Street, Grimes, Iowa. Casual dress is requested by her family.

Sending all of our love and hugs to Dixie’s family at this time. I worked with Dixie for a couple years and she always made the days better and the laughs much louder! She was spunky, thoughtful, funny and the best “work mom” I could’ve asked for! I’ll miss her deeply.
