Dennis Chase Cook

Dennis Chase Cook passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 29th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Dennis lived his entire life in Des Moines and Prairie City, Iowa. He was a long time manager at Crescent Chevrolet and Saturn of Des Moines. Always known for his wit, his smile and positive attitude, Dennis never spoke an unkind word to anyone. He was a car and baseball enthusiast, and loved his Iowa and Chicago Cubs.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Mona Lee (Mentzer) and Harold Cook. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Jean (Anderson) Cook of Des Moines, IA; their son Bryan (Shelly) Cook of Clive, IA and two grandchildren, Rilyn Cook of LaPeer, MI and Chase Cook of Tucson, AZ.
