Taken far too soon, Dakota passed away at home on December 24, 2024, forever leaving his mark in this world. He was born the son of Nicole Harvey and Craig Haes on November 30, 2003 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dakota enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he loved spending time outdoors and fishing as well. He enjoyed helping others, before he even helped himself.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Nicole Harvey; his father, Craig Haes; his siblings, Nick, Hailee, Monica, and Izziac; his grandmother, Mary; his nieces, Armani and Riley; his nephew, Braxton; his uncles, Jeff, Jason, and Jay; and his cousins, Sarocha, Jake, and Makayla.

Dakota was preceded in death by his son, Vincent; brother, Hunter; grandfather, Mike; grandmother, Debbie; uncle, Joe; and his best friend, Gage.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on January 11, 2025 at Bethany Full Gospel Church, 3565 NE 56th St.
Altoona, Iowa.
