Charles Edward Hyslope, 77, passed away on December 28, 2024, at Mercy Hospital. He was born the son of Charles and Daisy (Easter) Hyslope on March 14, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Charles (Chic) retired from John Deere after 30 years as a welder. Chic enjoyed spending time with his companion, Suz, playing Xbox games online with his son, Chuck, watching NFL and movies, riding motorcycles, eating pizza, and being outdoors.

Charles is survived by his companion, Susan Wiegand; son, Chuck (Audra) Jennings; sister, Cheryl (Allan) Blue; sister-in-law, Mary Hyslope; brother, Mike (Judy) Wilson; nephews, Shawn (Jeanie) Conkling, Matt Conkling, and Alfred Hyslope, Jr.; cousin, Carol (Sondra) Hyslope; and many other family and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Daisy; and brothers, Alfred Hyslope and Fred Easter.
