Christina Marie Gulans passed away on October 18, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She passed peacefully surrounded by her husband, family, caring staff, and prayer. Christina was born on October 6th, 1963, and was blessed to have celebrated her 61st birthday. She will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind soul, who brought much love, fun, and laughter to all who knew her. Her faith, strength, and courage will not be forgotten, and our love lives on in memories.

Christina is survived by her husband, John Michael Salak, her siblings Deborah Gulans, Jeff (Rick) Gulans, Theresa Gulans, Natalie (Brian) Schlichte, and Michelle (Jason) Turner and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Christina was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Delores Gulans, and her brother Leon Gulans Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport, 6111 Fleur Drive, Des Moines IA 50321 on Sunday, October 27th from 1-4 pm in Rooms 158 and 160.
