Chad Havener

Chad Havener 57, husband to Tracy and dad of Chantel & Jacob passed away January 24, 2024.

Chad graduated from Southeast Polk high school in 1984. He lived and worked in varies cities until settling in Bondurant in 1992.

Chad worked in semi-trucking transportation for several years before becoming a self-employed owner/operator. Chad retired after 19 years of grain hauling in the Bondurant area.

Chad always said his greatest accomplishments in life was his 30+ year marriage and his two loving kids.

Chad is survived by his wife, Tracy; children, Chantel (Jeff) Bucklin of Bondurant and Jacob of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Braydin Phipps, Samantha, Hailey and Brooke Bucklin; sister, Lyn (Terry) Leesley of Pleasantville; brother, Victor (Rosalyn) Roberts of Clive; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Chad was preceded in death by his mother Jill Roberts who passed in 2015.
Chad will be dearly missed by all he loved and who loved him.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
