My heart is so heavy to hear about Carol’s passing. She was so special to me, not just a friend but truly like family.
We first met at John Deere, but our bond quickly grew beyond just being colleagues. No matter where life took us, we always stayed in touch, whether it was a text or a quick phone call just to check in. The last time we texted was March 17, and knowing she passed just days later weighs so heavily on my heart. I wish we had said even more.
Carol was someone I could always count on for sound advice, encouragement, and genuine care. She will be deeply missed. I am keeping her family in my prayers during this difficult time.
Love you always and forever, Carol! ❤️

To the Family of Carolyn Cook,
We the members of the Emmanuel Seventh-Day Adventist Church are praying for you and wishing the comfort that the God of heaven alone can give. It’s true that when we lose someone we love there is heartache, pain and a noticeable void that can only be endured by hope and peace. Our prayer is that you hold on to the mighty hand of a merciful and understanding God who in due season will bring you to personal peace as you mourn the passing of your loved one. Isaiah the prophet wrote in Isaiah 26:3&4 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:”
May the God of all comfort, comfort you at this hour!
Peaceably submitted: The Emmanuel Seventh-Day Adventist Church Family of St. Joseph, Missouri

I had the privilege of working with Carolyn for several years on the John Deere Financial Collections team. She sat just across the wall from me, and I always enjoyed listening in on her calls — she was funny, firm, and full of compassion. Her advice was always thoughtful and spot on, and her love for her family radiated through everything she did.
One of my favorite memories is when she got tickets to see Cardi B — she was so excited! Even though she ended up falling asleep before Cardi B came on stage, she still said it was an amazing night. That was Carolyn — full of spirit and joy.
My heart goes out to her family during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.

Condolences to Carols daughters and family. I met Carol at John Deere Credit 30 years ago.
She always gave me some of the best advice. I would run into her occasionally while out shopping and we would have some of the best long conversations, because we both love to talk. She will be missed. RIP My Friend.
