Calvin was one of the first persons that I met at the post office years ago. We hit it off from the beginning whether it was good-natured, Steelers/Cowboys trash talk or our USMC bond. Calvin was a friendly hardworking man. I was very honored to have him as a friend.

I miss you so much “Papa Calvin.” I thank God you allowed me and my girls to be a part of your family! You will forever be in my heart and I thank you for my weekly checkup whether a call, a text or stopping by ❤️. I love you and am thankful I got to tell you one more time! I will cherish my last text from you because you said, “I love you too April.” You were one of a kind and yet so stoic, so I cherish that you were vulnerable enough to tell me you loved me! Forever remembered, fly high 🕊️ I will forever keep my promise to you and watch over Patience and Brianna!
