"Dear Scott and Angela,
I loved your mother, and I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. Growing up, Bonnie was my surrogate mother, and her joyful spirit and positive energy always left a lasting impression on me and everyone she met. I will miss our chats when I would come to visit. We would reminisce and laugh at all the memories of our 50+ year friendship and all the crazy things we put her through. Her kindness and beautiful soul will always be remembered.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I love you both very much.
