Beverly Maxine Farnsley, 98, passed away on July 16, 2024 at Wesley on Grand, a WesleyLife Community in Des Moines. She was born on January 16, 1926 to Glen and Ruth (Wilkenson) Hussey.

Beverly was a homemaker, raising 3 rambunctious boys all the while working part-time as a cook at Woodside Middle School and Saydel High School. She loved to sew Barbie clothes. Beverly and her brother Wayne loved to joke and have a great time with each other.

Beverly is survived by her son’s Kevin Farnsley and Robert (Mary) Farnsley; 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; son, Steven Farnsley and brother Wayne Hussey.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., at Pine Hill Cemetery, 400 NW 54th Ave., Des Moines.
