Beverly Collins, age 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born on April 17, 1952, in California.

Bev loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Bev lived for her family and always made sure they knew they were loved. Her heart and home was always open to absolutely anyone, she knew no strangers. Bev was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, bingo, collecting owls, and was a Green Bay Packers fan.

She is lovingly survived by her sons Chris Bohall and Lance Bohall, daughter-in-law Alice Bohall, grandsons Dustin Seacrest, Travis Seacrest, Justus Bohall, and Stone Bohall, granddaughters Montana Bohall, Andrea Bohall, Ollie Hutchins, Destiney Warner, and Akasha VanRoekel, great-grandchildren Asher Bohall, Braxton Bohall, Willow Bohall, Nevaeh Bohall, Hayden Bohall, and Aaliya Flagg, brothers Walter (Wanda) Randall and George (Bev) Randall, and sister Denise (Ed) Vandenhamil.

Bev was preceded in death by her husband Donald Collins, daughter Tammy Seacrest, daughter-in-law Billie Bohall, brother Richard Randall, sister Delores Randall, mother Delores Anne, and father Walter Randall.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2024, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024, followed by burial beside her husband at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m.
