Barbara Ann Crees, 86, passed away surrounded by her family on May 17, 2024 in Ankeny. She was born on July 22, 1937 in Des Moines, to Francis and Celia (Thornton) Bachman.
Barbara was united in marriage to Robert K. Crees on May 2, 1964.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Mark (Janiece) Lewis of Columbia, MO and Brian (Kim) Lewis of Williams, AZ; step daughters, Bobbi (Jim) Thomas and Kay (Steve) Miller both of Pleasant Hill, IA, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sisters, Beverly Magani and Marilyn Hagendorn and brother, Roland Bachman.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave., Des Moines, Iowa.
Memorial contributions may be directed to family in loving memory of Barbara, that family will be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

I was said to hear about Aunt Barbera's passing. But I will always remember the wonderful times we had at the lake. She always had a smile on her face, and we could talk and laugh for hours, she had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed.
