Aaron Roy Ostrem, 41, passed away on May 9, 2024 in Altoona. He was born on April 22, 1983 to Kent Ostrem and Mary Ostrem in Oskaloosa.
Aaron shared his time as a volunteer at many places and doing many activities. He loved donating his time to the Historical Pella Museum, as well as Nelson Pioneer Farm in Oskaloosa. He also loved coaching his son’s soccer team. Aaron enjoyed scuba diving and traveling. He could be found outdoors participating in numerous activities and he would always convince his family to come along, even if they were a little apprehensive, however it always ended in a wonderful time. Aaron was a master gardener, he belonged to several garden clubs and spent numerous hours in his own garden. He was an avid reader. But one thing he was most proud of was serving his country in the United States Army.

Praying for your family at this difficult time. I have many fond memories of Aaron from his childhood when he and Ryan would hang out together. He was a gentle soul who will be missed by many. With much love, Lorri & Dick Grubb
