Wesley “Wes” Layton Jarnagin, 79, earthly life journey peacefully ended the evening of March 22, 2024. Wes was born to George and Susie Jarnagin on July 6, 1944.

On January 31, 1982, Wes married his loving wife, LaDonna. Together they built a beautiful life with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Wes loved to tinker in his garage and was always able to fix anything. His strong interest in stock car racing, often become the family retreat. Wes also enjoyed spending time at their camper, where he fished and rode around on his golf cart. Wes was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandpa. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Wesley is survived by his wife of 42 years, LaDonna Jarnagin; children, Lanee (Joe) Duckert, Randy (Dawne) Meyer, and BethAnn (Anthony) Baker; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren with another on the way; siblings, Ray and Anne; and biological children, Wes Jr., Tammie, and Kenny.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Valarie Lynn Meyer; parents, George and Susie Jarnagin; two brothers; and two sisters.

Celebration of life will be held July 6, 2024 on his 80th birthday.
