Victoria L. Bohall
March 30, 1951 — March 15, 2025
Victoria L. Bohall, 73, went home to be with Jesus, her Savior on March 15, 2025.
Victoria was born to: MaryLou Blackford Hopkins March 30, 1951. She grew up on the eastside of Des Moines.
And as her story goes, when she was around 4 or 5, she would go outside on Sunday Mornings and before she knew it, she was walking through the doors of Grandview Baptist Church. In her words, which is where she met Jesus Christ for the very first time. Skipping through the years, she in her own words said, “That the time of her life I met the boy I was going to marry!”
And She Did
Now 56 years later she went home to be with her first love - Jesus Christ.
She received her high school diploma and later went on to Bible College and received her Bachelor of Ministries degree. From there, she went to receive a license to preach from Kingsway International.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ron Bohall; her four children, Douglas, MaryLou, Amy, and an adopted son, Bill Darrah; siblings, Sharon Hall, Cindy Hall, Randy Schaff, Monty Schaff, and Bill Schaff; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in life by her mother, MaryLou Hopkins; sister, Deborah Blackford; grandmother, Francis Webber; grandfather, Sidney Webber; and his wife, Marie.

So sorry I missed this service! I reached out to many family members as to when the service was going to be, but no one let me know.
My heart breaks! Rest in peace sweet cousin. Prayers to cousin Ron and the family. Love you

I went to church with her and pastor Ron and her grand daughter Anna, I can’t believe she’s gone, her and pastor Ron attended my great grandmas funeral and my grandmas celebration of life. I will miss her so much. She meant so much to so many people and I’m happy that she’s up in heaven with my family may she rest in peace

Pastor Bohall words cannot express what I would like to convey to you and your family. Truly Mother Bohall was the most peaceful, loving and powerful spirit I have met in my life. Although I only knew her for a short time she has definitely left an impact on my spiritual journey! I feel she is dancing with the angels. May God comfort you and your family as well as your church family!
Peace and Blessings
