Vanessa Rae McDaniel, age 70, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at her home in Des Moines.

Vanessa was born December 17, 1953, to Betty and Victor Taylor, in Des Moines, Iowa.

She was a C.N.A. for many years.

Vanessa loved spending time with her family. She was very outgoing and a social person. She liked to laugh, have fun, and meet new people. She enjoyed family get-togethers and holidays.

Vanessa liked to travel and see new and different places.

She is survived by her two children: her daughter, Cindy Reasoner; her son, Jason Reasoner; her seven grandkids and her six great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Taylor and her mother and stepfather, Betty and Sam Long.
