Tiffany L. Sherman
February 15, 1993 — December 16, 2024
Tiffany Lynn Sherman, 31, passed away on December 16, 2024, due to chronic health issues.
Tiffany was born on February 15, 1993, in Des Moines, Iowa. She spent most of her childhood in Altoona, Iowa, graduating in 2011, before moving to Des Moines as a young adult. Tiffany spent her last several years living with those she is closest to: Teri, not only her sister, but her best friend; her dear niece, Serenity; buddy, Kolby; and newest nephew, Koleson. Tiffany also had a boyfriend, Benji Richardson who had recently given Tiffany a ring and asked for her to marry him. And her fur babies – yes, she was a cat mom to Emma and Kejan.
Tiffany was a vibrant and creative youthful spirit who found joy in fashion, music, and games. Her love for self-expression and creativity was evident in everything she did, from curating her unique style, to immersing herself in the latest tunes. A true night owl, Tiffany was often found staying up late, whether it was watching her favorite shows, listening to music, or playing games. Tiffany enjoyed Disney, Pokémon, LEGOs, and Fortnite. She had an infectious enthusiasm for life that touched all who knew her, and her energy was something that made every moment spent with her feel special.
She is survived by her biological parents, Sandra (Mike) Beerbower-McLaren and Harold (Jen) Sherman and her adoptive mother, Tabatha (Tom) Stoner, her siblings, Teri (Kody) Sherman, Tracy Sherman, Ann Shiner, Kris Shiner, Amber (Justin) Shiner, TJ (Kayla) Shiner, as well as a few step siblings, Ashley, Brittany, Shawn, Andrew, Crystal, Amanda, Joseph, and Ryan, several nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as grandparents, Toni Bishop, Phil (Cate) Lemke, and Anita Lemke.
Tiffany was preceded in death by two step siblings, Andrew McLaren and Amanda Stoner, a nephew as well as Teri’s son, Braxton Liam Cockrum, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, December 23, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baldwin Patterson American Legion Post #274, 2211 E 42nd Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50317. Please join family and friends for sharing memories and snacks.
